HERDD compressed pine bedding comes in eco-friendly, 22kg bags to conveniently provide a hygienic environment for your animals' comfort and rest. HERDD bedding is 100% natural, and packed into fully compostable bags.
HERDD bedding swells to approximately 4 times its dry state so you get a lot more volume than you would for other beddings. With good stable management, HERDD bedding can last 12+ months, we recommend 1 bag per fortnight as a top up.

For a standard sized (4x4m) box, we recommend 9 bags (subject to your own preference for depth - you may want 1 or 2 more or less; 9 bags gives approx 10cm depth). If you have rubber flooring, we recommend 7 bags (7 gives approx 8cm depth).
Show tip: Pack 2 or 3 bags of HERDD bedding in your truck or float for extra bedding in competition yards – ensuring your horse rests comfortably on a clean and fluffy bed before they enter the ring.
